Natural tonal movement
Broad, stable EQ curves make it easy to rebalance a source, open a mix or reshape an arrangement without forcing narrow corrective moves.
AL-EQ4
Broad musical curves, analog-modeled nonlinear behavior and responsive harmonic movement in a fast, repeatable digital workflow.
Design intent
AL-EQ4 is a musical digital equalizer for producers, recording and mix engineers, mastering engineers, beatmakers, composers, arrangers and musicians who want controlled character without a complicated setup.
Broad, stable EQ curves make it easy to rebalance a source, open a mix or reshape an arrangement without forcing narrow corrective moves.
Character modes change the nonlinear response and harmonic movement while the underlying controls remain familiar and consistent.
The processing path is designed for repeated use across instruments, vocals, buses and revision-heavy projects.
The nonlinear stage responds to signal level and source dynamics, creating controlled saturation rather than a static tonal overlay.
Direct controls, reliable recall and automation support quick choices during writing, recording, arranging, mixing and mastering.
Use AL-EQ4 for broad tone shaping on individual sounds, stereo groups, mix buses and final masters.
Listening modes
The audio examples will compare controlled correction, level-dependent harmonic weight and more pronounced nonlinear character.
01
Measured tonal moves for balance, repair and small adjustments that need to remain repeatable.
02
Level-dependent saturation can add density and contour while preserving useful detail.
03
A more responsive nonlinear setting for sounds that need clearer harmonic definition or movement.
Plugin interface
Four distinct EQ characters, clear curve visualization and immediate access to the essential controls without layers of hidden menus. AL-EQ4 keeps the focus on sound — from precise correction to broad musical shaping and expressive analog character.
FAQ
The product page covers the processing design, intended users and planned release details in greater depth.
Yes. AL-EQ4 will be available as a free 15-day trial before purchase. The trial will let you properly evaluate the workflow, EQ modes and processing character in your own projects.
The initial AL-EQ4 release is planned for VST3 and AU. Additional formats may be added later as the product develops.
Supported operating systems and minimum requirements will be published before release. We recommend checking compatibility with your system and plugin format before installing the trial or full version.
After purchase, the license will be linked to your ALIASING LABS account. The account page will show the license status, available downloads and the number of activations in use.
